The gallery below showcases images from a corporate office design project for Nike.
Nike Inc. is a major publicly-traded sportswearand sporting equipment company. The company is headquartered in Beaverton, Oregon but is expanding its facilities into the Midwest. Nike would like to use their Midwest offices as a regional training center for stores that sell Nike products to promote their products via seminars and product demonstrations. The departments that will be housed in Nike’s Midwest expansion are Executive, Finance, Marketing, Sales, Human Resources, and Supply Management.
The focus of this project is sustainability and efficiency to help Nike grow and better serve its customer base in the Midwest. The design achieves this through by integrating elements of Nike’s fundamental beliefs about the history of sport with its mission to constantly push products and customers to new heights. The parti concept, rooted in the Greek goddess Nike (of which the company has taken its name), represents victory and its fleeting nature. The winner’s podium and its three tiers are abstracted in the forms, signage, and lighting of the space to create a vibrant dynamic atmosphere.
